The Wailele Polynesian Luau has been designed to bring traditional and authentic dances, songs and colorful costumes to visitors of this beautiful island, Maui. Here, guests will embark on a vibrant and exciting journey to the Polynesian Islands where dance was considered not just as a form of entertainment, but as a means of telling stories. Welcome drinks upon arrival: Lei greeting, Photo with dancers, Polynesian Village interactive cultural activities,Guests to be seated, Conch shell call and tiki torch lighting ceremony. First Course: Pupus(appetizers) & Salads:Ahi poke with limu, Maui Gold Pineapple and guava-glazed chicken wings and taro chips. Lau'ai'ia with Haiku greens, Kamuela tomato, Kula onion, hearts of palm, tahitian lime dressing. Taro rolls and butter Second Course: Main Entree:Seared island i'a (fish), taro leaf and ginger butter, kalua pua'a (pork) cabbage and poi, fire roasted teriyaki beef, Molokai sweet rolls. Narration followed by performances: Kahiko Chant, Otea Tahitian dance, Hula 'Auwana Hawaiian hula, Boys Haleakala Hula, Hawaiian repertoire using bamboo sticks, gourd and feather rattles,Tongan, Ahuroa Tahitian dance, Maori Haka, NaWaka,Samoan Fa'a Samoa, Slap Dance
